We will be operating an appointment system this Summer for visits to all of our stores.
We strongly suggest early booking as spaces are limited and the stores will be very busy especially in the last few weeks of the Summer.
If you do not have an appointment you may have to queue as priority will be given to customers with appointments.
Please also be aware that our Cut Off date is August 12th after which Uniform may not be available before children go back to school.
Latchmere Primary School
This Uniform is available online and at our Chessington store.
Latchmere is an academy school for boys and girls aged 3-11 years. There are seven year groups (Years R 6), and we normally place children according to age.Each class of pupils has its own designated teacher, but children are often taught by other teachers, who are either from the same year group or are specialists in particular subjects. The use of specialist teachers for Music, Art and French is a strength of the school. Within each class and across the year group, there are flexible grouping arrangements and differentiation so that children can progress at their own appropriate rate and level.
We have large playgrounds bordered by trees and shrubs, with an exciting adventure playground, quiet sitting areas and multi-sports facilities. We enjoy shared use of extensive playing fields which are adjacent to the school and have our own covered and heated swimming pool, which is in continuous use from April to October. We place great value on working together with parents. We know this makes a great difference to the quality of the childrens education. We welcome the informal links we have with you. For the first two weeks of the school year, teachers accompany their class to the playground at the end of the day, and you will collect your child from them. This is in order that you can make yourself known to them and discuss any issues. On Fridays for the rest of the year, teachers will accompany their children to the playground after school.
You are also welcome to spend regular time in school sharing your skills and interests, which might include art, music, science, listening to children reading , assisting in the Literacy Hour and discussing their work. Please contact your childs teacher if you would like to help in this way. We also very much appreciate help from parents in accompanying classes on educational visits, and with supervision at swimming lessons.
