St Michaels C of E Primary, Playden

St Michael’s school is situated in the picturesque East Sussex countryside in the village of Playden, 1 mile from the Cinque Port town of Rye.

Considerable changes have been made to the fabric of the school in the last twelve months. Indoor and outdoor spaces have been redesigned to provide a more secure and stimulating learning environment. In particular a modern office/reception area has been created to welcome parents and visitors.

A Controlled Church of England primary school, with just over 100 pupils, the villages of Playden, Iden and Rye Foreign form the traditional catchment area with some pupils from Rye.
